If this sounds at all interesting, you should definitely give this game a shot because I think he achieved most of what he was aiming for.The puzzles have a very good progression of complexity and mechanics that keep them fresh and interesting without becoming tedious. The moments of revelation are impactful and every new mechanic has at least one of those in store. The narrative kept me engaged and brought up interesting points. It is a shame that it is in many ways disconnected from the main gameplay. A section that manages to blend the two far better is floor 5.The environmental story-telling does a significant amount with very little, utilizing repeated assets in a way that actually makes sense in the world. The art direction wasn't as focused as i would have liked, as repeated themes often have different implementation when it would have made more sense to present consistency to sell the world better. The message of the game, while not as striking as it could otherwise have been, varies it's direction inspiration in an interesting way. If you can spot it, you know what i mean. It's worth the asking price of 12.99 if you are already an avid player of the first person puzzle sub-genre.. Awesome puzzle game, terrible forced story. Get it for the puzzles, not for anything else. Portal inspired and casual.. A story that elicited more than a few eyerolls told mostly by Navi with a British accent meets a decent first-person puzzler that begs for a checkpoint system and has some wonky physics. I know FPP games are hard to come by, but do yourself a favor and (re)play Portal 2 or Q.U.B.E. 2 instead.. Despite it being short (only 4+ hours) i would argue it has a deeper and richer story than games 3-4 times it's length. This game has two diffrent endings so i suggest playing it twice, i also suggest looking at every paper, newspaper, and book you can find because they offer massive amounts of backstory. I reccomend this to ANYONE who enjoyed Portal and Portal 2 because this game has the same vibe to it.overall: 10/10. Pros: - reasonable price for 4-5 hours of gameplay- interesting mechanics which are introduced at a good pace- engaging enough to make you want to play in one sitting- puzzles challenging but not too hard- gameplay almost flawlessCons:- rarely the game will bug out and you have to restart in order to get level transitions to load- walking is rather slow- story wasn't that interesting / good (but it's a puzzle game so who cares)Conclusion:If you like first-person puzzle games you can safely get this and have a fun time. It doesn't reinvent the wheel and doesn't reach the high genre standards games like Portal, Antichamber or The Witness had set. But at this price the puzzles are good enough to make you have a fun time.
