The puzzles seem okay and the story might be interesting, but I couldn't even watch the intro cinematic without encountering a fatal error that leaves me with a white\/grey screen and the audio playing in the background. I restarted the game several times and everytime the fatal error would happen the second I hit "Next" to continue. This can be avoided by completely skipping the cinematic, but I would have liked to get the story part of the game too. The developer doesn't have access to the source code anymore (read the Steam discussions), so any bugs and issues like the one mentioned above will never be fixed. Hardcore HOG fans might be interested in picking up the game, but I wouldn't recommend it, unless you get the game during a sale and only if you don't mind the flaws. This is a long and detailed casual point-and-click adventure withs lots of hidden-object scenes and puzzles, but it is hampered by technical problems.First, I and many other people could not get it to run in full-screen mode. Depending on your resolution, it could mean that the game appears naturally as a tiny little window. The way to fix this is to change your desktop resolution: an awkward and annoying workaround. This might make most people pass on this game.It also crashed on me a few times. This was easily solvable by restarting the game: it continued from exactly the same place.For those who stay, prepared to have issues with \u201cpixel hunting\u201d: you sometimes need to click at the exact right tiny little place for an action to register. This is frustrating, because it might appear to you that you did not solve the puzzle correctly, when if fact you were correct.If you can stomach those problems, you will be rewarded with beautiful graphics and complex gameplay. The story itself isn't very special, but it takes you through two very different settings, almost feeling like two different games, and features some memorable characters and animations. The voice acting is, as usual for this genre, mediocre.. This game is definetely not the best Hidden Object game, but it was still okay. The worst part was the beginning, it was really strange and you just bumped into it. The story in general was good and there were also very difficult puzzles to solve. Also the graphics were cool and there was a gloomy atmosphere. The ending was too short but still okay. I wouldn't buy the game at full price because it isn't that worth, but when there is a sale, then you can buy it without hesitation.. The game crashed twice as I was attempting to enter the Terrace location. Besides, the prologue is vaguely racist. I do not recommend this game.. I recommend this game with a few cons weighing against it.PROS:The puzzles are in depth, complicated without being infuriating, and they fit well with the theme of the storyThe graphics are really good and the voice acting isn't terrible.CON:The story is hokey as heck.The Native American and Voodoo imagery are very inappropriate.If you can handle the story being terrible, then this game is worthwhile. Probably pick it up on special or in a bundle though.. I finished this game in 2 sittings because it was torture the first time around.My mistake was to play it on Expert which meant (almost) pixel-hunting for interactive objects.If it wasn't for the map and the hint system, it'd have been a nightmare. Pity that on a few occasions, the map doesn't tell you what's next.This game also falls victim to not knowing what to do next, checking the map and finding a HO scene.Also, the ending was creepy and disappointing.
